The Flower Mound Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association is a 501(c)3 organization consisting of graduates of the Citizen Police Academy program.
The Alumni Association's mission is:
"To promote understanding between the community and the Flower Mound Police Department, and to aid and assist the police department, the Town, and the citizens in promoting and supporting projects and programs for the betterment of the community and its citizens."
These goals are accomplished by:
- Providing volunteers for FMPD-sponsored functions and funding for officer equipment and training
- Supporting the growth of the Citizen Police Academy
- Providing education and training for FMCPAAA members
The FMCPAAA maintains a close relationship with the Police Department. FMCPAAA has provided volunteers, food, or other support for (but, not limited to) the following programs:

The FMCPAAA supports FMPD with supplemental funding for officer training, equipment, and other necessary, but, non-budgeted items.
